MEDIA FOR ITS SPRING 2014 EDITION.
DEADLINE IS MARCH 24TH, 2014
Literary Submission Guidelines
SVR is primarily a literary magazine, and accepts literary
submissions in prose, poetry and short fiction. Submissions
should include:
(1) a cover letter including the contributor’s name, address,
phone number, and email;
(2) two to five lines of biographical information;
(3) submissions in .doc, .docx or .rtf formats if submitted
via email;
(4) an SASE if submitted by US mail.
Simultaneous submissions are amenable as long as we are notified immediately if work is accepted elsewhere. Successful works in prose and fiction typically do not exceed 3500 words. Due to the volume of work received, literary work will not be returned.
Please indicate if you are an SCC student to be eligible for the Quinton Duval Award.

Image Submission Guidelines
SVR accepts submissions in fine art, photography and
3D art.
(1) Submissions should be submitted at 300 ppi in TIFF
or JPG formats to suisunvalleyreview@gmail.com;
(2) No more than three images per artist should be
submitted;
(3) Any submitted image may be selected as the cover of
the magazine;
(4)SVR publishes images in full color.
FOR ALL SUBMISSIONS
(1) Editors will respond in four to eight weeks
(2) Accepted authors and artist receive two copies gratis
(3) Accepted authors and artists will be invited to present their
work at our publication release to occur at the SCC Library on
Wednesday, May 7, 2014, from 2-4 PM.
The 2014 Quinton Duval Award in Creative Writing:
To be eligible, authors must have been an SCC
student during the 2013-14 Academic Year.
The Award Winner shall: be published in the
2014 Suisun Valley Review and be invited to
read the winning piece at the release reading on
May 7; have his/her name added to the Quinton
Duval Award plaque in the SCC Library; receive
a monetary award.
